Verusha Malapermal

Verusha Malapermal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, procurement, and project management in the coatings and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Head of Sales at BASF since November 2022, Verusha previously held key positions at Kansai Plascon including Head of Procurement and Senior Procurement Manager, focusing on category management and supplier relationships. Prior experience includes Development Manager at AKZO NOBEL LIMITED and Operations Manager at Auto Colour, along with various roles at Barloworld Plascon SA, where responsibilities ranged from project management to technical development of coatings. Verusha holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, supplemented by a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
