Yun Han has extensive experience in the field of analytical chemistry and enzyme formulation, holding senior leadership positions at BASF from November 2013 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing technical development for enzyme research and product development. Prior to BASF, Yun held multiple roles at Verenium Corporation from September 2010 to October 2013, focusing on formulation and process development for industrial enzymes. Yun’s early career included significant contributions as a pharmaceutical scientist at Sytera Inc, Sirion Therapeutics, and ReVision Therapeutics from September 2004 to August 2010, and as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles from June 2003 to August 2004. Yun Han earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from UCLA and an M.D. from Peking University.
