Zhenyu Qian is currently the R&D Director at BASF, leading the integration for Global Battery Materials since 2021. Previously, Zhenyu held various roles at BASF, including R&D Scientist, Senior Manager for Asia Pacific Application Development, and Head of Global Development and Innovation in the Home Care sector. Zhenyu earned a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Cornell University and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering and Polymer Chemistry, respectively, from Tsinghua University.
