Ameer Sherif

Ameer Sherif is the Founder and Chairman of BasharSoft, where they previously served as the CEO & Co-founder. Ameer is also a Co-Founder of WUZZUF and Forasna. Ameer has been a Venture Partner and Partner at Khwarizmi Ventures, a Board Member at the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and a member of the Board of Directors at EGYTRANS. Additionally, they have been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and is an Endeavor Entrepreneur. In the past, Ameer served as the Product Manager/CTO at BasharJobs and was the Network Founder for Batch #8 at 500 Startups.

Ameer Sherif holds a BSc in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Cairo University (1999-2004) and an MSc in Computer Engineering from the same university (2004-2007). Ameer has also pursued executive education programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford University, INSEAD, and Harvard Kennedy School. In 2021, Ameer joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP) in Team Egypt. In 2022, they obtained a certification as a Certified Board Director from the Egyptian Institute of Directors.
