Ben Ashpole

Ben Ashpole has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Ben started their career in 2003 as a Software Project Engineer & Leader at Lockheed Martin, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, they founded their own software company called Bashpole Software, Inc. and served as CEO. Ben also started working as a Computer & Information Science Masters Student at the University of Pennsylvania in the same year, completing their studies in 2008. In 2008, they worked as the Director of Strategic Development at MFR Consultants for a few months before becoming an Adjunct Professor of Business at Peirce College. In 2009, they founded Bashpole Inventions, Inc. and was its Founder until 2015. From 2014, they took on the role of Executive Director at Better Communication Forum. In 2018, they joined the National Science Foundation (NSF) as a Principal Investigator through the Innovation Corp (I-Corps) Program. Ben also worked as a Partnership Development Consultant at Jozu Analytics - A division of JOZU for WOMEN INC from 2018 to 2020. Ben's work experience showcases their expertise in software development, business management, teaching, and research.

Ben Ashpole completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Indiana University Bloomington from 1999 to 2003. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science at the same institution. Ben then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2006 to 2008.
