Alexa Katz

Alexa Katz has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Alexa is currently working as the Associate Director of Products and Experiences at BASIC/DEPT® since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Code and Theory from 2017 to 2021, where they held various positions including Senior Interaction Designer, Interaction Designer, Associate UX Designer, and UX Design Intern. Before joining Code and Theory, Alexa worked at Siena Art Institute Onlus as an Urban Designer & Researcher from September 2014 to May 2015, where they collaborated on a team of international artists and architects on a project displayed at the Museo Civico Archeologico "R. Bianchi Bandinelli", Colle Val d'Elsa.

Alexa Katz has a diverse education history. Alexa has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Brandeis University, where they studied Biology and Studio Art. Alexa then pursued further studies at the Siena School for Liberal Arts, where they obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Studio Art and Italian Language. Alexa Katz also holds a Master of Design degree in Interior Design from The Glasgow School of Art. Additionally, they have a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Studio Art and Italian Language from the Siena Art Institute Onlus.
