Charlie B. is a seasoned manager at Basic Carbide Corp, currently focusing on the company's operations. They joined Kennametal in 1998 in South Africa, where they played a key role in developing the Surface Mining business in sub-Sahara Africa. After transferring to the U.S. in 2000, they held several positions, including Product Specialist and Snr Global Product Manager for Surface Mining Products, while earning numerous patents. Charlie has been with Kennametal Tricon since 2012 as a Senior Applications Engineer, assisting in the global expansion efforts. They hold an Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Strategy Planning, and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand.
