John Jackson

John Jackson is the current Director at Basic Energy Services. Prior to that, they were with Cudd Energy Services from January 2019 to December 2021 as their Corporate Engineer. There, they utilized SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design HSE engineering controls used on hydraulic fracturing sites. John conducted field trials on engineering controls to test efficiency, reliability and functionality. John also oversaw expenditures of hydraulic fracturing capital equipment by meeting with vendors to test new equipment and maintain current services. John wrote industry standards to minimize risk of safety and prevent equipment failure. Additionally, they developed an application to track inventory of chemical and sand products on hydraulic fracturing sites.

From January 2021 to December 2022, they were the Manager of Application Technology at Covia. There they developed new products for industrial markets and ran pilot plant scale ups to insure projects were able to make it to the next scale before commercialization. John also ran & managed API lab in The Woodlands and designed testing methods for new products.

Prior to that, they were Technical Sales & Application Technology Manager at Covia from January 2014 to December 2019.

John Jackson has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Sam Houston State University.
