Gene Work

Gene Work has extensive experience in the creative services industry. Their most recent position was as Vice President of Creative Services at Basic Fun! starting from February 2018. Prior to that, they served as Executive Vice President of Creative Services at Jakks Pacific from January 2009 to November 2017. Before joining Jakks Pacific, Gene Work worked as Senior Vice President of Creative Services at Play Along Toys from August 1999 to December 2008. Gene began their career as an Art Director at Equity Marketing/Equity Toys in October 1988, where they worked until March 1999.

Gene Work attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1983 to 1987. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Illustration/Design/Animation.
