Founded by Ben and Kate Towill in 2013 in Charleston, South Carolina, Basic Projects owns and operates three restaurants and one boutique inn: Basic Kitchen, Sullivan’s Fish Camp, and Post House Inn, which was recognized in Travel + Leisure’s 2023 World’s Best Awards as No. 1 Resort in SC.
