Altana Ochirova

Altana Ochirova has worked in various accounting roles since 2009. Altana began their career as an Account Assistant at British American Tobacco in 2010, followed by a similar role at Castorama Russia in 2009. In 2011, they took on the role of Accounts Payable Specialist at Lamoda Group, where they prepared monthly commission reports and A/R and performed general ledger accounting. In 2014, they became a Biller at Empire City Laboratories, where they processed billings, invoices, and reimbursement claims. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at L'esti's Desserts® as a Staff Accountant, where they processed A/P, A/R, and billing, as well as prepared payroll for 50 employees. Finally, they have been a Sr. Accountant at both Roman and Williams Guild and Basic Resources, Inc. since 2019 and 2022, respectively. In their current roles, they assist with the month end closing process, maintains and improves supporting schedules for assigned G/L accounts, manages and supports Concur users, and performs A/P cycle and A/R and billing management/collections.

Altana Ochirova obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the College of Business Technology - Moscow in 2009. Altana then went on to earn their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Moscow State Open University (MSOU) in 2012. In 2019, they completed their Master of Science - MS in Accounting from Ohio University. In October 2020, they obtained their Ethical Leadership Certification Program from the NASBA Center for the Public Trust.
