Julie Pollak began their career in 2010 as a Merchandising Intern at Hirshleifer's, Inc. where they worked with in-house photographers and brand ambassadors to style and photograph luxury clothing and accessories for e-commerce and private client usage. Julie also re-touched clothing and accessories images for e-commerce usage. In 2012, they took on the role of Marketing Intern at Flo'N The Go where they generated digital and print advertising to educate students studying abroad on the culture of Florence and collaborated with the design team to brainstorm innovative and new forms of education outreach including social media and guerilla marketing. In 2014, they became a Design Intern at Anna Sui where they created limited edition apparel designs for Ford Mustang's "Unleash Your True Self" Campaign and designed apparel graphics for the resort and fall 15 collections. Julie also assisted the assistant designer and public relations team during New York Fashion week fitting models and creating looks for the runway show. In the same year, they joined Basic Resources, Inc. as a Packaging Designer and Associate Graphic Designer for USALegwear. In their role, they lead training sessions with new hires, conducted weekly meetings with associate designers, provided artwork direction, supervision and work flow guidance, delegated and explained project goals to new hires, designed packaging and dielines for national brands, and created presentation books and marketing materials for sales pitch meetings that resulted in business accounts with fortune 500 companies and leading international brands. Julie also edited photography used for packaging and e-commerce.
Julie Pollak attended Syracuse University - College of Visual and Performing Arts from 2009 to 2013, where they received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Communications Design. Prior to that, they attended Jericho Senior High School from 2005 to 2009.
