Laurie Romano has been working in the fashion industry since 2003. Laurie began their career as a Product Development Manager at Lion Uniform Group, G&K Services, where they were responsible for all aspects of design, development, and technical design for uniforms for Delta Airlines, JetBlue Airlines, LIRR, Bryant Park, Comair, Song Airlines, and others. Laurie also worked with designers Richard Tyler, Stan Herman, and Kate Spade to interpret designs into functional, comfortable, uniform-quality fashions, and worked on location with product manufacturers in China. In 2007, Romano moved to Basic Resources Inc, where they became a Designer and was responsible for all aspects of design and development for men's and boy's underwear and sleepwear for brands Reebok, Head, And1, Body Glove, and other private label brands. In 2016, they returned to Basic Resources Inc as a Sr Designer.
Laurie Romano received a BFA in Fashion Design and Women's Tailoring from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Laurie also completed a Management Training program at Dale Carnegie Training in 2015.
