Allan Kweli

Allan Kweli has extensive work experience in various sectors. Allan started their career as a Network Operation System Engineer at ALTECH Stream Rwanda in 2010. Allan then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cape Town from 2010 to 2012. Later, they joined MTN Rwanda, where they served as a VAS Engineer from 2014 to 2017 and then as a Senior PS Core Engineer from 2017 to 2020. In 2019, Allan joined ProData247 as the Director of ESG and Sustainability, a role they held until 2023. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as the Head of Operations at Volkswagen Mobility Solutions Rwanda. Currently, Allan is the Head of Operations at BasiGo.

Allan Kweli holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Allan further pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications Engineering at the same university from 2011 to 2012. Currently, Allan is attending Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where they are studying Impact Measurement & Management for the SDGs and is expected to complete the program in 2023. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, as well as Strategic Business Management from the University of Cape Town in 2021.
