Joe Chen

Joe Chen, CFA, is currently the Product Lead for the Accounting Model at Basis, where they focus on building innovative solutions. With a strong background in finance, Joe served as Director of Investment and Capital Market Finance at Freddie Mac, leading a finance team managing a substantial Mortgage Backed Securities portfolio. They co-founded Buckit, Inc., a mobile solution to help consumers manage their credit health, and held pivotal roles in product management at Chargebee and Primatics Financial, where they significantly advanced product strategies. Joe began their career as a Financial Analyst at Nomura Asset Management, and they continue their education with an MBA from Baylor University and a BS in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics.
