Deborah Shellmer

Deborah Shellmer is a K12 Education Specialist currently serving as the Director of School Improvement at BASIS Ed. Previously, they held various roles, including Director of Academic Programs and Director of Assessment, Accountability, and Research at BASIS.ed, as well as positions at the United Nations and the Ministry of Finance as an English Language Instructor and Editor. Deborah has experience in curriculum development and research, having worked with institutions like the Lorosa'e English Language Institute and Hanover Research. They are pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology and Anthropology at New York University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, respectively, and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Research, Measurement, and Statistics from Texas A&M University.
