Chini Sinha

Chini Sinha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

They began their career at Accenture, where they worked as an Associate Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and later as a Senior Software Engineer. During this time, Chini focused on reducing defects and improving stability in the production environment, gaining expertise in Java, JAXB, Web services, Spring MVC, Hibernate, UML, and Design patterns.

Chini then joined Northeastern University as a Research Assistant, followed by a role as a Research Programmer at the Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science. Here, they worked on human-computer/robot interaction projects in the US healthcare sector.

Next, Chini worked at Basis Technology as a Software Developer Co-Op, where they made significant contributions to the AWS cloudformation templates and developed a new feature in a shipment Java application.

They returned to Northeastern University as an Engineering Intern at HealthEdge, a software development company focused on US health insurance. Chini worked in the QA team, gaining practical experience in software engineering.

Chini then joined Basis Technology again as a Software Engineer, specializing in Lucene, Elasticsearch, Machine Learning, Java, and NLP. They designed and developed APIs for a knowledge base management system and contributed to the development of address matching logic in existing text analytics software.

Most recently, Chini Sinha has been working at Babel Street as a Senior Software Engineer and currently holds the position of Engineering Manager. The details of their work in this role are not provided.

Chini Sinha's education history begins with their high school education at St. Michaels High School in Patna, from 2004 to 2006. After completing their secondary education, they attended Mody Institute of Technology and Science from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Chini pursued further education at Northeastern University from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Chini Sinha has obtained several certifications. In June 2014, they received certification as an iOS Application Developer from BitsNChips. Chini also obtained the AHM 250 certification in November 2013. Lastly, in February 2021, Chini successfully obtained the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance.
