Jess Kaswiner

Jess Kaswiner has a diverse work experience in the field of social media and marketing. In 2023, they joined Basis Technologies as the Director of Social Media Investment. Prior to that, they worked at Formerly Known As as an Associate Media Director, providing strategic direction and planning for clients in various industries. From 2021 to 2023, Jess worked at Empower as a Director of Social. They also held positions at OMD USA as a Manager of Digital Activation, PHD as a Supervisor of Social Media, and Rise Interactive as a Senior Internet Marketing Consultant, focusing on social media campaigns and performance analysis. Jess's earlier roles include being the Founder of Artists Mean Business, a producer of a podcast series featuring interviews with arts and cultural leaders, and a Technical Marketing Student at Startup Institute. They also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago and as a Grants Assistant at BMO Harris Bank.

Jess Kaswiner attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Masters in Art Education with a specialization in Museum Education. Prior to that, Jess received a BA from Connecticut College, focusing on Museum Education, Art History, and Art. They completed their high school education at Newark Academy. In addition to their formal education, Jess has obtained certifications such as being a Facebook Certified Buying Professional from Facebook Blueprint and a Mad Dogg Spin Instructor from Mad Dogg Athletics®.
