Lois Castillo

Lois Castillo has a range of work experience spanning over two decades. Lois currently serves as the Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Basis Technologies. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Talent & Inclusion at Highdive Advertising, where they established the HR organization and provided performance management guidance to internal management. Lois also held roles at Leo Burnett, where they supervised staff and handled all aspects of the agency's DEI goals, and at Cintas, where they served as the Quality Assurance Manager and developed learning and development training. Before that, they worked at HSBC Bank USA, N.A. as a Collection Team Lead, and in the US Army as a Supervisor in the Finance Operations department. Overall, Lois has a strong background in DEI, HR, talent management, and leadership.

Lois Castillo received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications from Columbia College Chicago, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Lois also has a background in Accounting and Finance from their time in the United States Army from 1999 to 2004. In addition, Lois has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Bystander Training: From Bystander to Upstander, Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (obtained in both 2020 and 2018), and Organizational Learning and Development (obtained in 2018).
