Sean Engel

Sean Engel is a Mechanical Design Engineer with a diverse background in engineering and project management. Currently employed at Baskervill since March 2024, Sean previously held the role of Project Engineer at Atlantic Constructors, Inc., where responsibilities included maintaining project tracking reports, preparing construction submittals, and overseeing product quality and safety. Prior experience includes serving as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc., where project oversight and quality control were key duties, along with a previous role as Mechanical Design Engineer focusing on systems design. Sean's career also includes experience as a Product Engineer Intern at Hamilton Beach Brands Inc., and a self-employed electrician and grip in the film industry. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Radford University.
