Tom Needham

Tom Needham, MBA, is Head of the Biopharmaceuticals practice at Broadview Ventures, where they manage biotechnology investment strategies and activities. Additionally, Tom serves as the Managing Director of Longview Ventures, focusing on clinical-stage opportunities. With over 30 years of experience in venture capital, business development, and executive roles within biotechnology firms, Tom holds board positions at companies such as IsomAb and Basking Biosciences. Tom's prior roles include Chief Business Officer at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and Managing Director at Synthesis Capital. They earned a BA from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
