Yann Schuermans

Yann Schuermans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yann is the Founder and CEO of Baskit, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, Yann served as an Advisor at Reap starting in 2020. Yann gained valuable experience at Circles.Life, where they held the positions of Chief of Staff & Head of BD from November 2021 to September 2022, and Chief of Staff from August 2021 to November 2021. Yann also worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they held multiple roles including Director - M&A and Strategy from February 2020 to August 2021, General Manager / Region Head from October 2018 to March 2020, Chief of Staff to CEO from October 2017 to October 2018, and Associate Director - FP&A from March 2016 to October 2017. Before that, they gained experience in Corporate Development / M&A at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) from 2014 to 2016. Yann commenced their career at Citi in 2013 in the role of Capital Markets. Yann also worked briefly at Anheuser-Busch InBev as an Operations - Business Analyst in 2011.

Yann Schuermans has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from The University of Manchester. Yann was in the top 1% of their program. Yann also completed Executive Education at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where they achieved top of class performance. In terms of additional certifications, Yann Schuermans obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2018, and in 2015 they received various certifications from the CFA Institute.
