Frank Schmolla

Frank Schmolla has over 23 years of experience in software development. Frank started their career as a Software Developer at BESSY GmbH in 1998. Frank then worked as a Software Developer at TU Berlin from 1998 to 1999. Frank joined Fraunhofer IIS in 1999 as a Software Developer and worked there until 2004. In 2005, they joined Basler AG as a Software Developer and later took on roles as a Senior Software Developer, Group Leader Software Development, and currently serves as the Head of Central Services - Software since April 2021.

Frank Schmolla obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Computational Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Medizinisch-Physikalische-Technik at Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) from 1993 to 1998, receiving the Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing. FH) qualification.
