Marko Voitel

Marko Voitel has a strong background in optical engineering and research. Marko started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Marko then joined Network Photonics Inc as an Optical Engineer from 2000 to 2003. Marko further expanded their experience in the field by working as an Optical Engineer at JENOPTIK AG from 2003 to 2005. Afterward, they joined Basler AG, where they held various roles such as Director of Research and Development, Head of R&D Technology Department, Head of Systems and Documentation Department, Head of Custom Projects R&D Department, Head of R&D Surface Inspection Department, and Head of R&D Systems Department. Marko'sresponsibilities at Basler AG included optical system design, project management, and adding manufacturing capacity.

Marko Voitel completed their education from 1981 to 1990 at Gymnasium Dörpsweg, where they obtained their Abitur. Marko then attended Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 1991 to 1997, earning a Diplom Ingenieur (FH) in Photoingenieurwesen. Following this, Voitel pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Opto-Electronic Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they completed between 1998 and 2000.
