Stefan Krotmeier

Stefan Krotmeier is an experienced executive in the lighting industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of BASO Lighting since November 2015, where the focus is on establishing European design in the North American market. Previously, Stefan held the position of President at Wever & Ducré from February 2018 to January 2024, managing the operations of this Belgium-based lighting company in the USA, known for its decorative luminaires. Earlier in the career, Stefan worked at XAL from September 2007 to October 2015, initially as Project Manager, overseeing quality assurance and production processes, and later as Assistant to the Managing Director with responsibilities in project management and data analysis. Stefan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Graz, completed between 2007 and 2015.
