Aimar Mendaza

Aimar Mendaza has extensive work experience in various engineering roles.

From 2023, they worked as a Senior Process Engineer at BASQUEVOLT.

From 2017 to 2022, they held the position of Director Técnico at DACO ingeniería. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects, mechanical design, automation, assembly, and procurement. Aimar implemented PMP and Agile methodologies in project management, standardized processes, designs, and materials, and introduced Lean tools such as 5S, indicators, 8D, and cross-training.

In 2016 to 2017, they served as the Director of Production Engineering and New Launches at Tenneco.

From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Faurecia in various roles. Aimar was the Lean Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager from July 2011 to August 2012. Aimar successfully implemented the FES system, improving HR, production, quality, and logistics. Aimar also handled engineering methods, processes, and maintenance. From October 2009 to June 2011, they were the UAP Manager, responsible for production, engineering, and maintenance, as well as production planning, quality assurance, and productivity improvement. From July 2007 to October 2009, they served as the Coordinador PSE, overseeing engineering, maintenance, methods and time, and implementing lean practices and systems.

At Cegasa International, from 2004 to 2007, they worked as an Engineer for continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement in the technical office. Aimar focused on implementing TPM and improving mechanical and pneumatic systems, automation, and documentation.

Overall, Aimar Mendaza has demonstrated expertise in project management, design, automation, lean methodologies, production engineering, and continuous improvement.

Aimar Mendaza attended Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Design. Aimar continued their education at the same institution from 2002 to 2006, completing a degree in Industrial Organization Engineering. In 2007, Aimar Mendaza studied at Asimag and earned a Technical Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Safety. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Business Agility at EdvanceBS, with anticipated completion in 2023.
