Nuria Gisbert

Nuria Gisbert has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Nuria is currently the Director General at CIC Energigune since November 2015. Additionally, they are the President of BASQUEVOLT since July 2022 and President of BCARE_MB since September 2018. Nuria Gisbert has also served as a Board Member (Vicepresident) at Innobasque - Agencia Vasca de la Innovación since May 2016 and as an Advisory Board Member at Comité Científico Asesor del Consejo Vasco de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación since December 2018. Nuria was previously a Vocal de la Junta de Gobierno at COIIB Colegio oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Bizkaia from December 2017 to December 2019. Earlier in their career, Nuria Gisbert worked as the General Manager at CIC MICROGUNE from May 2012 to October 2015 and as a Member of the Board of Directors at Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Biodonostia from January 2013 to January 2015. Nuria also held the position of General Manager at CTDE (INCOESA R&D unit) from January 2008 to May 2012 and Technical Manager (Directora Técnica) at INCOESA from 2000 to December 2007.

Nuria Gisbert has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. In 1994 to 2000, they attended the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in electrical engineering. In 2001 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) at the same university, focusing on Networks, Telematics, and Internet Services.

In 2004, Nuria obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Nuria then went on to complete an Executive MBA program at IE Business School from 2006 to 2007, earning the degree of MBA-Executive.

In 2015 to 2018, Nuria pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Nuria'sfield of study for the PhD was Business Management and Innovation, specifically focusing on mentoring.

Lastly, in 2021 to 2022, Nuria attended the Escuela Europea de Coaching to obtain an Executive and Team Coach ACTP Accreditation, specializing in Executive and Team Coaching.
