Sergio Basconcillos

Sergio Basconcillos has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Sergio started their career in 2000 as a Design and Process Engineer at Cegasa Internacional. Sergio then held roles such as Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering Manager, and Project Manager at Cegasa International from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, they became the Production, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering Manager at Tximist Batteries (Shenzhen) LTD - Cegasa Group. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as the Production, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering Manager & Project Manager at Cegasa Internacional. Sergio joined CEGASA Portable Energy, S.L.U. in 2015 as the Lean, Engineering, and Maintenance Manager. At the same time, they also served as the Industrial Director at EGA Master. In 2018, they became the Industria Director at EGA Solutions (EGA GROUP). Most recently, they have taken on the role of Process Engineering Director at BASQUEVOLT in 2022. Throughout their career, Sergio has gained expertise in process engineering, industrial management, lean manufacturing, maintenance, and project management.

Sergio Basconcillos has a diverse education history. Sergio began their educational journey at Instituto Ramiro de Maezto, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study in 1992. Sergio then went on to pursue Mechanical Engineering at Mondragon Unibertsitatea from 1992 to 1996. Following their undergraduate degree, Sergio attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1996 to 1999, where they further specialized in Mechanical Engineering. In 2010, they enrolled in ESEUNE Business School in Spain, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2011. More recently, in 2017, Sergio attended EAE Business School, where they pursued a Master's degree in International Supply Chain Management & Logistics.
