Amber Field

Amber Field, Ed.D., has extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development. From July 2007 to June 2010, Amber served as Principal at KIPP STAR College Prep Charter School. Amber then held multiple roles at KIPP NYC from July 2015 to July 2016, including Senior Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and Director of Professional Development Opportunities. As National Director of Training for GirlTrek from April 2019 to October 2020, Amber designed impactful learning experiences for a nonprofit focused on the health of over one million Black women. As Chief Program Officer and Director of Programs at projectBASTA from February 2022 to June 2024, Amber contributed to the development of innovative educational content geared toward adult learners. Currently, Amber is the Head of Learning & Experience at BASTA since July 2024, and previously worked as National Director of Institutes and Assistant Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education from August 2016 to October 2017. Amber earned a Doctorate at National Louis University between 2012 and 2015.
