Makeda A. is a lifelong learner who has gained diverse experience in marketing, behavioral health, and community engagement. They currently serve as a Basta Fellow with projectBASTA, participating in a career prep program for college students. Makeda has previously held roles at the Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness, Bronx River Alliance, and Hunter College. They completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology, alongside minors in Public Policy and English, at Hunter College after graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School.
