Shirley Landeros

Fellow, First-Gen Career Development

Shirley Landeros is a UX/UI Designer and Web Developer with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Design Media from New York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Korea University. They have gained experience as a Mobalytics Extern, where they conducted research on user behavior in the crypto gaming space, and as an Accessibility in XR Designer for Helen Keller Services, creating inclusive AR/VR experiences. Shirley has also volunteered with Engineering World Health, repairing medical devices in low-resource settings, and served as a Tech Flex Leader at America On Tech, enhancing their coding skills while mentoring peers. As a First-Gen Career Development Fellow at BASTA, they continue to empower fellow first-generation college students through training and networking strategies.
