Jon B.

Jon B. has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and network infrastructure. Jon began their career as a Project Manager at BAE Systems, where they oversaw various research and development projects. Jon then joined General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as a Program Manager, responsible for managing software and system development projects.

In 2015, Jon joined Effecture, LLC as a Program Manager, where they supervised a team and served as a security liaison for a network infrastructure project. Jon then worked at San Diego Gas & Electric as an Information Security Project Manager, where they coordinated and facilitated the development and maintenance of information security tools and infrastructure.

Jon's experience also includes working at Circadence as a Director of Cyber Research and Development, where they led a team of cybersecurity engineers in conducting offensive cybersecurity research. Jon utilized agile processes and reverse engineering techniques to develop proof-of-concept demonstrations.

At Forescout Technologies Inc., Jon held multiple roles, including Solutions Architect and Senior ICS Security Engineer. Jon supported the integration of OT network anomaly detection tools and performed installations, configurations, and administration of security systems.

Prior to their current role, Jon worked at Dragos, Inc. as a Staff Reverse Engineer. Jon was responsible for researching and reverse engineering OT network protocols, developing detection logic, and creating new content for the Dragos Platform.

Currently, Jon is employed at Bastille as a Threat Researcher. Further details of their role at Bastille are not provided.

Jon B. has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jon also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from San Diego State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology, with a focus on the Biological Aspects of Conservation, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In addition to their formal education, Jon B. has obtained various certifications.
