Eric Clary

Eric Clary has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Eric is currently the Chief Information Officer / vCIO at Bastionpoint Technology, where they provide strategic IT solutions, conducts security audits, and manages a team of engineers and analysts. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Lead & Business Continuity Coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth Bank. Eric also served as the Assistant Director of Information Technology at The Steward School and as a Social Media Managing Consultant (Temp/Merger) at Radio One. Additionally, Eric has held positions as an IT Administrator at ABC News, Manager of Information Services at the Virginia Department of Corrections, and an IT Service Specialist at Southside Community Services Board.

Eric Clary attended Southside Virginia Community College from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Eric obtained certifications such as A+ Certification from CompTIA in June 2001 and CCNA from Cisco in July 1999. Additionally, they acquired additional certifications including the Automated Fingerprint Identification System from the Department of Virginia State Police in October 2018, First Aid and CPR from the American Red Cross in January 2021, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2021.
