Jaakko Jutila has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jaakko started their career as a Summer trainee/Electrician at ABB Industry Oy in 2001 and continued as a Summer trainee/Electrician at ABB Oy Industry in 2002. In 2003, they worked as an Engineering Assistant at Helsingin Energia. Jaakko then joined Planar Systems Inc. as a Summer trainee and later became a Trainee. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at TKK/Automation Technology Laboratory as a Research Assistant and Research Scientist. In 2007, they joined Accenture as a Manager Management Consulting, a role they held for over a decade until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at Basware, initially as the Director of Customer Service and currently serving as the Vice President of Customer Support.

Jaakko Jutila attended Jousenkaaren koulu from 1987 to 1993, where they obtained a Comprehensive Level degree in General Studies. Jaakko then enrolled at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1999 to 2006, and earned a M.Sc. (Tech.) degree in Automation technology, Work Psychology, and Leadership. Additionally, Jaakko has obtained various certifications, including SAFe 4.0 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2017 and Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor in 2018.
