Mirja Sipilä

Mirja Sipilä is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales operations and enablement. Currently serving as Director of Sales Operations and Head of Sales Enablement at Basware since February 2017, Mirja has focused on enhancing sales productivity and launching global sales induction programs. Prior to this role, a significant period was dedicated to parental leave and voluntary work, including activities for a children's welfare NGO and coordinating language learning initiatives for teenage refugees. Mirja's career includes a decade at Nokia, culminating as Global Head of Sales Readiness, where responsibilities encompassed the development of launch readiness programs for various sales channels. Earlier positions include roles in business development at Akumiitti, market analysis at Finpro, and an internship at the European Union Delegation to the United States. Mirja holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in International Business from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Saint Peter's University.
