Raman Kant has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and performance optimization. Raman started their career as a Software Engineer at Hopeall Infotech, where they focused on developing applications using Java and related technologies. Raman then worked as a Software Engineer at NVISH Solutions, where they contributed to a project involving the maintenance of a gaming website and integration with PlayStation Network.
Raman then joined Basware, where they held multiple roles over the years. As a Software Engineer, they were responsible for the development and improvement of the e-invoicing system. Raman later took on the position of Senior Software Engineer, specializing in performance optimization and capacity planning. In their most recent role as the Lead Performance Engineer, Raman led the performance engineering efforts, including performance planning, cost optimization projects, and migration to cloud-native services. Raman also played a crucial role in troubleshooting production performance issues and analyzing performance of new architecture solutions and hosting providers. Throughout their career, Raman has gained expertise in performance testing, application monitoring, and working with cloud platforms like Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Raman Kant completed a Master's in Computer Application (MCA) from IME from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's in Computer Application (BCA) from PGC, Hamirpur from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Raman Kant has also obtained several certifications, such as the AWS Well-Architected Framework certifications and various MongoDB-related certifications.
