Timo Sinisalmi

Timo Sinisalmi has a strong background in program management and product development. Currently, they are the Director of Product Development at Basware, where they are responsible for a large AI/Machine Learning program. Timo has successfully migrated a significant portion of Basware's business transactions to AWS, resulting in cost savings, performance improvements, and increased availability. Prior to Basware, Timo worked at Nokia, where they held various senior program management roles. Timo managed the Wellness Business Program, Identity Management, eCommerce, and Multimedia projects, delivering successful releases and zero security incidents. Before Nokia, Timo was the Development Manager and Team Leader at InfoManager, overseeing the development of a globally-used Business Intelligence product. Timo also worked as a Software Engineer and Team Leader at Comptel, where they programmed a PBX switchboard information product and established a product development team. Timo started their career as a Programmer at TammerData. Overall, Timo has a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering high-quality solutions.

Timo Sinisalmi completed a Matriculation Examination at Viherlaakson Lukio from 1981 to 1984. Following that, they obtained a Diploma in Systems Design (Datanomi) in Computer Science from the ADP Institute (ATK Instituutti) between 1986 and 1988.
