Since 1948, Batch Ltd has been helping the book industry work better together. Founded as a clearing house to simplify and speed up invoice payments for booksellers, Batch has grown into a technology driven organisation that provides innovative digital solutions for publishers and retailers across the UK, Ireland, and more than 75 countries worldwide.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Booksellers Association of the UK & Ireland, Batch sits at the heart of the book trade, connecting booksellers, publishers, and distributors through services that make trading simple, transparent, and efficient. We’re also the proud parent company of Batch for Books, our expanding US operation.

Batch develops and manages a suite of smart digital services designed to help booksellers and publishers trade more efficiently. From automating payments, facilitating and managing returns, and streamlining reconciliation to delivering bespoke technology solutions, our tools simplify complex supply chain processes, reduce costs, and remove administrative friction.
We blend deep industry expertise with cutting-edge technology to help our partners focus on what matters most , selling books and serving readers. By making operations smoother, faster, and more connected, Batch continues to shape the future of how the book industry does business.
