Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh Kumar has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Mukesh currently serves as the Head of Procurement at Batelco. Prior to this, they worked at Ooredoo Oman as the Procurement - Devices & Digital Transformation Lead. In this role, they finalized contracts for the supply of various devices and networking solutions. Mukesh also had direct partnerships with leading phone manufacturers. Before that, they held the position of Director of Procurement & Supply Chain Management at Airtel Tanzania and Airtel Burkina Faso, overseeing sourcing and contracts under various categories. Mukesh also served as the Group Sourcing Head at Bharti Airtel International, where they handled large-scale sourcing contracts and developed turnkey site procurement contracts. With experience at Bharti Airtel, Huawei Technologies India, Idea Cellular Ltd, Alcatel-Lucent, and Bharti Telecom Limited, Mukesh has gained expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

Mukesh Kumar obtained a Certified Advanced Procurement Professional (CAPP) degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management from the International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management in 2019-2020. Mukesh also completed a post-graduate diploma in procurement & supply chain management at Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies in Pune from 2016-2017. Prior to that, they acquired a post-graduate diploma in Information System Management from All India Management Association (AIMA) from 1998-2001 and a B. Tech degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from the Institution of Engineers of India (IEI) in Kolkata from 1995-2001. Mukesh also pursued Engineering studies at Haryana Polytechnic Nilokheri from 1989-1992.
