Prior to this role, James held various positions in the US Army, including Battalion Operations Officer and Strategic Analyst, and excelled in aviation management and operations as a Senior Aviation Maintenance Manager and Commander of UH-60 units. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Operations and Technology from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
