James Webster is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program and project management within the defense sector. Currently serving as Manager of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement at General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works since October 2017, James is responsible for overseeing the DDG-51 AEGIS destroyer new construction program and providing leadership for the DDG-51 Class Lead Yard Services Program. Prior to this role, James held various positions in the US Army, including Battalion Operations Officer and Strategic Analyst, and excelled in aviation management and operations as a Senior Aviation Maintenance Manager and Commander of UH-60 units. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Operations and Technology from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
