Robert Beagan is an experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on naval architecture and ship design. Currently serving as the Engineering and Design Section Manager at General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works since March 2007, Robert leads a diverse team of engineers and designers in developing post delivery design products for various naval vessels, including Littoral Combat Ships and DDG classes. Prior roles at General Dynamics included Engineering Section Manager and Principal Engineer, contributing to significant naval projects and supporting corrective maintenance and design package development. Earlier in Robert's career, extensive marine engineering experience was gained through roles at Argosy Casino & Hotel, Belle of Sioux City Casino, Sabine Transportation Corporation, and Coastwise Trading Company. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy.
