Robert Spotnitz

Robert Spotnitz is an experienced professional in the battery technology sector, currently serving as President of Battery Design since April 1999, where the focus is on user-friendly software for battery data analysis, design, and simulation. Prior to this role, Robert worked as Director of Advanced Product Development at PolyStor from February 1998 to March 1999, leading the development of lithium-ion hybrid electric vehicle batteries. Earlier experience includes serving as Staff Engineer at Hoechst Celanese, managing the Battery Applications Lab, and at W. R. Grace & Co., contributing to various electrochemical projects in energy storage. Robert holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1977 and 1982.
