Alex Cuti

Alex Cuti is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Gecko Robotics since July 2018 and holding multiple progressive roles including Mechanical Engineer I, II, and III. Concurrently, Alex is a designer and competitor for the Deadlift robot at BattleBots since February 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Engineer at Ethicon, Inc. from July 2016 to March 2018 and an Engineering Co-op position at UTC Aerospace Systems from August 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, Alex served as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign during the academic year 2012-2013. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2016 and also attended National Taiwan Normal University in 2014. Early education was completed at Bedford High School from 2007 to 2011.
