Brandon Young

Brandon Young is an experienced Aerospace Product Engineer at Eaton since August 2022 and has been a Mechanical Engineer for BattleBots since October 2020, competing with 'Big Dill' and 'Mammoth'. As a founder and president of Leatherbacks Combat Robotics from August 2018 to May 2022, Brandon led student teams in designing and building combat robots while teaching mechanical principles. Other notable roles include serving as a Senior Lab Manager at the University of Maryland, where Brandon trained students in machine operation, and an internship with Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., focusing on battery pack assembly design and analysis. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, completed in May 2022.
