Kerry Higgins

Kerry Higgins is an experienced lighting designer and technician with a diverse background in the entertainment industry, currently serving as the Lighting Designer and Head of Department for BattleBots since February 2023. Responsibilities include design, programming, and maintenance of lighting systems, while supervising a crew of up to ten personnel. In addition to the role at BattleBots, Kerry is a Stagehand with IATSE 720 and the Chief Lighting Technician at Felix Lighting, managing lighting and video for various events. Other notable positions include LED & Lighting Technician at Agility AVL, Lighting Designer and Video Technician at Sahara Las Vegas, and Lighting Technician for Cirque du Soleil. Kerry has been involved with several other lighting companies since 2009. Kerry's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard University and an Associate of Arts in Theatre Production from Kingsborough Community College.
