Leanne Cushing is a seasoned Senior Mechanical Design Engineer currently contributing to Bellwether Coffee's launch of an innovative electric coffee roaster, which has received the SCA Product of the Year 2024 award. With extensive experience in competitive robotics, Leanne has served as the Manager and Captain of Team Valkyrie for BattleBots, mentoring engineers while leading the team to upcoming competitions. Previous roles include Product Design Engineer at Apple, where Leanne worked on the 7th generation iPad Pro's Magic Keyboard, and Lead Mechanical Engineer at OnePointOne, focusing on agricultural technology. Leanne co-founded domovi, a connected appliances startup, and has held multiple engineering positions across various companies, including Datto and Smart Vision Labs. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Leanne has established a robust career in mechanical design and engineering.
