Lisa Winter is a highly experienced professional in engineering, robotics, and product prototyping, currently serving as a Judge for BattleBots since 2018 and Co-founder and Director of Prototyping at Sensible Robotics, where the focus is on tactile sensors for human robots. Winter's past roles include Engineering Program Manager at Path Robotics, Head of Hardware at Quartz, and Engineering Project Manager at Mattel, Inc., overseeing projects that ranged from consumer products to high fashion electronic IoT devices. Significant contributions in competition include being a Robot Builder and Team Lead for Season 1 and 2 of ABC's BattleBots, where Winter designed and piloted robots Plan X and Mega Tento. Additional experience encompasses pioneering work with various startups and established companies, alongside a BA in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
