Michael Barta

Michael Barta has over 13 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Michael is currently serving as the Managing Director Europe at battleface since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ERV Group for 8 years, starting as a Regional Manager for Asia Pacific and Americas markets in February 2014. During their time at ERV Group, they managed reinsurance relationships, supported the establishment of local companies or teams in different regions, coordinated the implementation of distribution solutions, and assessed potential strategic partnerships. Before ERV Group, Michael worked as a Market Management Consultant at Allianz - Slovenska poistovna, a.s. in 2013. Michael also held various roles at Allianz Group, including Regional Manager for Market Management from September 2011 to March 2013 and Executive assistant of CSO from January 2009 to August 2011.

Michael Barta attended Reutlingen University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Finance. In the same period, they also studied at NEOMA Business School, obtaining another Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on general finance.
