Daisy Winney is currently serving as the Lived Experience Training Lead and Relationship and Booking Lead (NSW/ACT) at batyr since October 2023. Prior to this role, Daisy held positions as a Brand Protection Officer and Ecommerce Fulfilment Assistant at Zimmermann from September 2020 to September 2023. Daisy's experience also includes a Marketing & Communications Internship at Schneider Electric in mid-2022 and a consultancy role with batyr as an Innovation Project Partner, part of the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence & Innovation degree. Additionally, Daisy contributed as a citizen journalist for No Fibs during the 2022 Australian Federal Election and completed a Podcasting & Communications Internship at Mondo Mentor. Early career experience includes roles as a Pharmacy Technician at Cincotta Discount Chemist and Kingsway Night & Day Pharmacy. Daisy earned a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence & Innovation and a Bachelor of Communication with a focus on Journalism and Digital & Social Media from the University of Technology Sydney.

Through lived experience storytelling, batyr shares mental health stories that inspire action, reaching young people early and often with the tools they need to look after themselves and each other before a crisis. batyr has a passionate and growing network of over 1,400 young storytellers who bravely share their lived experiences with thousands of young people across the country every year. batyr are experts in prevention with evidence-based proof of their impact since 2011. We are leading providers of mental health education in Australian Schools and Universities. Measuring the impact of their work is a key part of how batyr ensures its programs deliver meaningful outcomes for young people.
