Michael Jefferies

Michael Jefferies is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at IREN, overseeing strategic transactions and corporate governance. As a Non-Executive Director and Finance Committee member at batyr since May 2022, Michael previously held roles as Company Secretary and Risk Committee member. Michael is also an Advisory Board Member for the United Nations Association of Australia - NSW Division, contributing governance expertise in various director roles from 2019 onward. Additional experience includes positions at Newton Advisory Partners and EagleHawk Capital, specializing in M&A and financial advisory, and a prior role as Senior Associate at Hamilton Locke.
